Renting land
We welcome all enquiries to rent Council land. To register your enquiry, please complete our online form Council Land and Property Sale Opportunities - Enquiry Form.
Current fees to set up an agreement to rent Council land or property
Administration fee - £50 + VAT. This is to cover our costs in carrying out enquiries into the viability of an agreement. Please note this is an upfront fee and will be non-refundable.
Legal fees - £150 + VAT Land rent fee.
Land rent fee - We calculate our charges by measuring the land and charging the following fee per annum:

There is likely to be a 10% increase applied every three years if you continue to rent the land.
