Duty of Care
As a business, you are required by law to ensure that the waste you produce is correctly transported and disposed of in line with Duty of Care legislation. You must have completed a Waste Transfer Note, which must be signed by yourselves and your waste carrier. We will provide you with the controlled waste transfer notice.
The Pre-Treatment Regulations 2007 highlights that all waste created by the commercial and trade industry must be sorted to filter out items that can be recycled. We can help you ensure that you comply with these regulations. For further information, see the Duty of Care regulations which gives environmental guidance for businesses. Please contact us to discuss your waste requirements or book a free waste audit.
