Notice is hereby given that pursuant to the provisions of Sections 53 and 70 of the Local Government (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 1976, Mid Devon District Council intends to vary Hackney Carriage and Private Hire fees as follows:

A copy of this Notice will also be available for public inspection, without payment, at the Mid Devon District Council offices in Tiverton for a period of 28 days, from the date of publication of this notice.
Any objections to the proposed variations must be submitted in writing by 7 April 2025 to the Licensing Department at Mid Devon District Council, Phoenix House, Phoenix Lane, Tiverton, Devon, EX16 6PP or via email at licensing@middevon.gov.uk.
If no objections are received (or if they have been withdrawn) the fees will come into effect from 8 April 2025.
If any objections are received in response to this notice, then on a date not later than 2 months from the expiration of the 28 day period, the varied fees shall come into force with or without modifications, after consideration of the objections(s).
