Celebrate summer with Tiverton’s third ‘Electric Nights’ street food market of 2019
Tiverton’s street food market returns this Saturday from 5:30pm, 6th July and will be a celebration of summer.
The multi-award-winning event, run at Tiverton Pannier Market, hosts a wealth of street food, crafts, artisan goods and drinks from across the South West. Live music and entertainment will also be on show for the whole family.
July’s event offers a range of culinary delights for people to try – from gourmet burgers, Sri Lankan curry, Asian dumplings, German cuisine, a dedicated vegan stall and so much more! New to the event this month is Kate’s Plaice – a fish and chip van with a menu that includes traditional cod and chips, or if you like something a little different, a charred mackerel or battered halloumi!
Also debuting are local businesses Marinada, offering delicious food such as marinated Devonshire feather blade steak in a chocolate and chilli rub with parsnip fries, and Spreyton Press Cider, serving up cider cocktails from their converted horsebox.
Three fantastic acts will bring music to revellers’ ears: the talented up and coming artist Jak Lewis; superb local group the West End Warblers, and; Darianna and the Lodgers will finish off the evening with their range of songs to tap your feet to! As in previous events, TCR Radio will be compering and providing support to the musicians.
Sciencedipity will also be in attendance providing slime science workshops to keep children entertained, as well as the many market stalls offering goods such as homemade pies to artisan chocolate, bath products, crafts, zero waste goods, award-winning fudge and more…

The choices on offer at this event are mouth-watering, so do come along and enjoy an evening with friends in a great atmosphere.”
