To support local Christmas programmes and to enhance trade in the market towns of Mid Devon, 24 hour free parking will be available in the Councils long-stay car parks in the run up to Christmas.

Parking will be available as in previous years on the following Saturday’s as follows:

Crediton – St Saviour’s Way Car Park and Market Street Car Park

• Saturday 27 November (Christmas light switch-on) however Market Street Car Park will be closed from 1pm to 7pm.
• Saturday 4 December
• Saturday 11 December
• Saturday 18 December

Cullompton – Station Road Car Park

• Saturday 27 November (Christmas light switch-on)
• Saturday 4 December
• Saturday 11 December
• Saturday 18 December

Tiverton – Multi-Storey Car Park and Westexe South Car Park

• Saturday 27 November (Christmas light switch-on)
• Saturday 4 December
• Saturday 11 December
• Saturday 18 December

Normal parking charges apply at the above car parks on all other days of the year.

In the lead up to Christmas we have brought back free parking again this year to help support local businesses and encourage residents and visitors to shop in Mid Devon. I hope everyone enjoys what our towns and markets have to offer and can pick up some Christmas shopping or have a bite to eat.”
