Taste Mid Devon LogoVisit Mid Devon has launched a ‘Taste Mid Devon’ campaign aimed at attracting domestic tourists and Mid Devon residents to discover the culinary delights the area has to offer.

Taste Mid Devon will be blogging about Mid Devon’s highly awarded chefs, the stories behind our drinks producers, the variety of afternoon tea on offer, food experiences and tips for where you can buy our local produce and lots, lots more, on the Visit Mid Devon website.

A food & drink trail will be launched as part of the campaign for tourists and residents to discover Mid Devon’s rich culinary landscape – how many will you be able to visit this year?

Adrian Welsh Strategic Manager Growth, Economy and Delivery states:

“Summer is here and we can finally meet with friends and family indoors and outdoors in our wonderful pubs, cafes and restaurants. This campaign will help Mid Devon residents discover places they have never been to in the area, and it will be a useful resource for visitors.
“You don’t need to go anywhere else, there is so much in Mid Devon from fine dining to quaint tea rooms and local producer’s throughout the district offering taste sessions and experiences. We want residents to discover their local hospitality businesses and for visitors to experience what Mid Devon has to offer by eating and drinking locally!
“Following the last 18 months, we need to support our hospitality industry in order to help them recover. Mid Devon offers a wide range of eateries of exceptional quality which deserve to be celebrated. Visit Mid Devon is aiming to collate all the information in one place making it easier for visitors and residents to discover what they want.”

Restaurants from Cullompton, Tiverton, Crediton and Bampton as well as our gastro pubs dotted throughout our beautiful countryside will be getting involved in the campaign.
