Final Summer Electric Nights Event This Weekend
The fifth and final summer 2019 instalment of the Council’s fabulous food festival will take place this Saturday, September 7th.
The multi award-winning event run at Tiverton Pannier Market hosts a wealth of street food, crafts, artisan goods and drinks from across the South West as well as live music and entertainment for the whole family.
September’s event offers a range of culinary delights for people to try from Thai noodles, Persian wraps, paella and two dedicated vegan stalls. New to the events this month is Daddy D’s – they will be serving Caribbean food including curried goat and vegetable curry. For those of you with a sweet tooth we have many desserts stalls including; waffles, flapjacks, ice cream, cakes and vegan doughnuts!
Musical entertainment will be provided by fantastic band Byzantium Lane and the local amateur operatic group. Tiverton Community Radio will be compering the event and providing support to the acts.
For the children we have the amazing theatre company Boo to a Goose performing their brand new show ‘Space Cats’ from 6pm and we will have many market stalls attending, ranging from – homemade pies, artisan chocolate, bath products, crafts, zero waste goods, fair trade items and more…
