Job Fair Supporting Local Business Careers to be Held at Tiverton Market - 28 June
Looking for employment or a change in career? Come along to the Jobs Fair at Tiverton Pannier Market on Wednesday 28 June 2023 between 10am and 1pm to meet local businesses and hear about the career opportunities they have for you!
This FREE event is designed to help local residents looking for employment and businesses needing support to reach out to the local public with their recruitment. It will promote their business and the varied job opportunities and careers they have available within our district.
Organised by the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) and Mid Devon District Council, the Jobs Fair will host a wide range of local employers from different sectors including leisure, hospitality, health and social care, retail and education, amongst others. Jobs will cover a range of working patterns and hours including shift work, part-time and full-time vacancies. In addition to regular employment, businesses are also interested in meeting school and college leavers looking for apprenticeship opportunities.
“This event continues to be successful in bringing local businesses and public together and promote the vacancies available in our community. Many businesses are growing within the district; therefore the Jobs Fair provides an opportunity for residents to discover the potential out there! Support will be on hand from the DWP and the Council to help with any enquiries that occur on the day”, commented Councillor Steve Keable, Cabinet Member for Planning and Regeneration.
If you are a local business and wish to hold a stand at the free event, please contact Louise from DWP to book: LOUISE.MUZIK1@DWP.GOV.UK.
Members of the public looking to attend the Jobs Fair on 28 June should bring copies of their CV with them.
