Tiverton Pannier Market has announced details of six car boot sales in 2022.

There will be a mix of midweek and weekend events to provide more choice for buyers and sellers, with the action getting under way on Thursday 28 April.

There will be further midweek events on Thursday 23 June and Thursday 18 August.

The weekend events will take place on Sunday 22 May, Sunday 24 July and Sunday 2 October.

Jim Bray, market manager, said:

“We used to hold sales on Sundays only, before trialling midweek events in 2021.
“This year we want to offer both options and assess how successful they are before plotting a way forward.”

All events are free for buyers and run from 11am to 2pm, with food and drink available.

The market’s new café, Lost at the Market, will be open from 10am to 3pm on 28 April.

All pitches will be outdoors, under the covered areas and canopies alongside the historic market building.

Sellers should arrive from 10am. It’s £5 per car, to include a parking permit, and £1 per table.

Meanwhile, the market will hold a Nearly New Sale of baby and children’s clothes, toys and accessories on Saturday 11 September (11am to 2pm).

To secure a prime spot for any date, sellers should book in advance by calling Tom Nott, assistant manager, on 07977 929067 or e-mailing him at tnott@middevon.gov.uk. Alternatively, sellers can turn up on the day.
