Mid Devon District Council has introduced new features to its self-service portal, My Mid Devon, making it easier than ever for residents to report issues, access essential services, and stay informed about their local community.

The upgraded portal now allows residents to:

These new additions build on the portal’s existing features, which include checking waste collection dates, reporting other local concerns, and finding information about local councillors.

Councillor Josh Wright, Cabinet Member for Service Delivery and Continuous Improvement, said:

"We know our residents lead busy lives, so we’re making it easier for them to access services at their convenience. The improved self-service portal means fewer phone calls, quicker responses, and a more connected community."

By using the portal, residents can take action 24/7, without the need to wait in phone queues or visit council offices. Whether it’s a missed waste and recycling collection or a found pet, reporting an issue is now just a few clicks away.

How to Access the Portal

Residents can access the self-service portal by visiting https://my.middevon.gov.uk/ and signing up for an account. The process is quick, simple, and designed to make reporting and tracking local issues more efficient than ever.
