Mid Devon District Council is responsible for the street sweeping of all roads up to 40mph limit and litter clearing of all roads except for the M5 and A30. Under the Environmental Protection Act 1990 all district and borough councils were required to zone their areas. We have undertaken that task and the streets are cleaned using various methods and frequencies.
