Presentation

'Universal Credit - Making it work for landlords' with:

DWP Partnership Support Manager for Devon
Matt Hurley

Matt has been a Partnership Support Manager assisting the DWP with the roll-out of Universal Credit across Devon and Somerset for the past 18 months and has recently stepped into his new role. He was previously a Work Coach in Torquay Jobcentre and knows a great deal about the DWP's business of supporting people into work.

Universal Credit is the single biggest change to welfare benefits since the introduction of the system started in 1948. This affects how and when people will receive their support from the state. Matt's presentation will help landlords understand those changes and also how they can help their tenants to ensure they receive their Universal Credit Housing Costs Entitlement.
