What can a garage be used for?

You will need our written permission before using a garage to store anything other than a car or motorcycle. Garages or rent plots cannot be used to park a vehicle that is untaxed, un-roadworthy or uninsured.

Garages tend to be unsuitable for storing goods and belongings because they are susceptible to water damage, such as damp. If it is still your intention to store items in one of our garages you will need to provide an inventory of items and insure your belongings under your own household contents insurance policy.

You will need to sign a Tenancy Agreement when renting a garage or rent plot from us and agree to abide by a number of conditions.
