Are you a residential property landlord?

Exeter City Council are kindly extending their invitation to join Tozers LLP for a live webinar focusing on property disrepair, to landlords in Mid Devon.

Joanne Young and Martina Wise from Tozers LLP will be live to give an overview of disrepair in residential property.

With the state and condition of rented housing having recently grabbed the headlines, and with tenants increasingly keen to throw repairs issues in as defences to possession claims, Jo and Martina will be explaining what your duties as landlord currently are with regard to the upkeep of properties, alongside practical hints and tips. They will also discuss what the future may hold for landlords re repairs and maintenance.

Jo Young is a Senior Associate and solicitor within the litigation team at Tozers LLP and specialises in property litigation matters. She has acted for both private and public sector landlords for almost 20 years and is experienced at handling a wide variety of issues that can arise with tenancies.

Martina is an Assistant Solicitor within the team, and she works closely with Jo on a wide variety of property-related disputes. She recently qualified as a lawyer, having worked for a number of years before this as a legal executive.
