Previous Policies Map

The Mid Devon Local Plan Review has been adopted at an extraordinary meeting of the Full Council held on 29^th July, see Mid Devon Local Plan Review 2013 to 2033 Adoption Statement. The Mid Devon Local Plan Review 2013-2033 replaces the Core Strategy, AIDPD and Development Management policies that make up the previous Local Plan and are no longer in force. This also replaces the accompanying Policies Map set out below.

The Adopted Policies Map (previously known as the Proposals Map) shows the locations of development allocations, settlement boundaries and a variety of land designations and constraints.

In addition to a map at scale 1:50,000 showing the whole of the Mid Devon district, the Policies Map includes individual maps for settlements and locations within the district.

The maps are based on Ordnance Survey and Geographic Information System (GIS) data which is up-to-date at the time of publication. However, as time passes these maps may no longer reflect current land designations or constraints such as floodplains or County Wildlife Sites, at least until such time as an updated Policies Map is published.
