Swimming pools closed for upgrades at Lords Meadow Leisure Centre
The pools and wetside facilities at Lords Meadow Leisure Centre in Crediton will be closed from 1:00pm on 29 November 2019 to 2 January 2020.
This work is being scheduled as part of planned upgrades to replace the swimming pool infrastructure.
The improvement works will include new infrastructure within the plant room, resin flooring applied to all the pool surrounds and the installation of a new epoxy liner for the learner pool.
Mid Devon Leisure, in partnership with the Council, is committed to providing excellent facilities for leisure users, and these upgrades represent a substantial investment in future-proofing the pools to cope with long-term demand.
Staff at Mid Devon Leisure apologise in advance to users for any inconvenience this may cause, and they look forward to welcoming them to the new and improved wetside facilities on completion.
Please note
Only the pool and wetside facilities will be affected by the closure. All other sports facilities will remain open throughout this period.
