With less than a week until the end of the public consultation residents are being urged to share their views on the Willand Neighbourhood Plan.

Willand Parish Council formally submitted the Willand Neighbourhood Plan to the Council for the public consultation stage, running for 6 weeks ending on Wednesday 24 April 2024.

A neighbourhood plan is a community-led framework for guiding the future development and growth of an area. It must conform to the strategic policies of the Mid Devon Local Plan, national planning policy and human rights legislation. Neighbourhood plans are also subject to public examination and referendum.

The parish council’s application and copies of the relevant documents can be viewed on our website. Printed copies of the neighbourhood plan are available to view at:

Comments are invited by email to planningconsultations@middevon.gov.uk or by post/delivery to Forward Planning, Mid Devon District Council, Phoenix House, Phoenix Lane, Tiverton, EX16 6PP. All representations must include the sender’s postal address, or they will not be registered.

Share your views no later than 24 April and help shape the development and growth of Willand.
