Open data
As part of our responsibility under the Protection of Freedoms Act 2012, we will start to provide a number of datasets containing information covering all service units in a re-usable format. We are currently looking at the information it holds and produces, with a view to publishing for the benefit of our customers.
As well as showing accountability to the public, it's hoped that developers will be encouraged to re-use the data in new products and applications to create business opportunities and drive economic growth.
Data Sets
They are issued under the appropriate Open Government Licence (OGL). When re-using the information, you are required to attribute Mid Devon District Council and include the date of publication on our website, as required.
We have also included links to datasets that have been published externally by departments to benefit with transparency and public disclosure.
