Councillors should follow the Members' Code of Conduct.

How to make a complaint

If you want to complain about the conduct of a councillor or a councillor of one of Mid Devon's Town or Parish councils, you can write or submit a Code of Conduct Complaints Form to:

All procedures with regard to councillors' conduct are available within Appendix K of our Constitution.Complaints to the Monitoring Officer can only be about why you think a councillor has not followed the Code of Conduct. The Monitoring Officer will not deal with complaints about things that are not covered by the code.
