The council holds insurance for the following risks:

• Public liability
• Employers liability
• Property
• Motor
• Engineering

We strive to provide the highest level of service to customers to minimise the risk of any incident which may incur loss to any member of staff or customer.

However, accidents do happen and we provide the appropriate level of compensation where it is due. This is handled by our insurers who will also defend on our behalf any claims which we deny liability on.
