Tell us about rural Mid Devon

A survey to help the Council better understand how well rural places in Mid Devon meet the needs of their communities was held between Wednesday 3 January to Friday 1 March 2024.

The purpose of the survey was to find out where residents in rural communities across the district access local services, such as healthcare, shops and recreation facilities. We also asked about how well rural areas are served by broadband and mobile phone coverage, where publicly accessible electric vehicle charging points should be provided so that we can investigate these, and if there are community energy schemes in your area.

All comments received within the consultation period are being carefully considered to help us produce a new report on Mid Devon’s rural services, which will be published on this webpage in due course.
